Levi and Blue Jeans are 2 very popular residents at Living Treasures Moraine. They have been raised and bottle-fed with loving hands, and we continue to give them at least 1 bottle a day to keep the loving connection with humans.
To allow you to have a close-up interactive experience, we give our visitors the opportunity to help out too! Bottle feeding is every day at 10:30am at the Giraffe exhibit, and visitor participation is weather permitting depending on the environmental requirements of the Giraffes. We encourage all visitors young and old (children will be allowed to go first) to hand feed Levi and Blue Jeans their bottles. We will do our best to give everyone a chance to bottle feed them- our keeper will coordinate everyone in line and will help ensure that no one is left out.
You may also purchase carrots in the gift shop, and feed the giraffes at any time during the day. At this time the giraffes can only eat carrots, so make sure to save some for them!
Note: Petting Zoo bottle feeding is immediately after Giraffe bottle feeding, and then again at 5:00pm in the Petting Zoo.
