What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Checks are only accepted for group visits.
Note: Credit cards can only be used in the Gift Shop and Photo Center. You may purchase tickets in the gift shop for pony/camel rides and Animal Encounter Photos, but only cash is accepted at the pony/camel ride station.
Is the park handicapped accessible?
Yes it is. We have ramps to any exhibits where it is necessary to view animals.
Note from Moraine location: We recommend going through the park backwards (following the path to the right instead of the left) to avoid having to push wheelchairs up the incline by the reindeer exhibit.
Do you rent out wheelchairs or motorized scooters?
We don’t at this time, but you are welcome to bring them into the park.
Can we bring our own food for the animals?
No. Due to nutritional balance and animal safety laws, only food provided by Living Treasures Animal Park may enter the part to be fed to our animals.
Once we come into the park, are we allowed to leave and come back?
Yes! Upon admission to the park, your hand will be stamped. You may leave at any time and be readmitted as long as you present the correct hand stamp for that day.
Do you have a concession stand?
We do not have a concession stand, but there are small snacks in the gift shop that can be purchased. We also have several beverage vending machines throughout the park.
Where can we eat while we’re there?
We have a picnic area located in the upper parking lot. It is free and open to the public on a daily basis. You are welcome to bring your lunch and use the picnic area. Note: Groups coming in can reserve the picnic area for their use only. In the event that the picnic area is reserved for a group, there will be a sign listing times that it will be unavailable to the public.
It’s halfway through the summer (or it’s early fall,) isn’t it too late to buy a season pass?
No! Season passes are good for 1 year from the date of purchase! If you buy your pass at the end of September, it will be good until the following September.
Can season passes be used at both locations?
Yes- season passes can be used at both locations.
Can coupons be used at both locations?
Please check the coupon for a listing of locations where the coupon can be used. Some list both locations, others will be marked “valid at the Moraine location only” or “Valid at the Donegal/Laurel Highlands” location only.
Where do the animals go in the winter?
Most of the animals have access to heated buidings or shelters, and can go in and out as they please. The more sensitive animals are moved into our heated buildings. The Moraine Park has over 10,000 square feet of heated area to ensure all of the animals are safe and comfortable during the winter.
